Join me for my 2 hour online workshop ‘introduction to data visualisation in textiles’. I will discuss my approach to embroidery, with examples from my portfolio, and offer tips and advice for creating your own special piece. We can discuss the best way to document your important stories and moments, with the opportunity for you to plan and start your own embroidery to then finish in your own time.
In preparation for the session please have a pen, paper, fabric, needle, thread and an idea of something you would like to commemorate.
Basic knowledge of simple stitch techniques would be advantageous.
